Civil Site Design can be used for tunnel design. In this example we created a tunnel in two sections. First we created the road entrances and tunnel sections (not including the walls and roof, giving us the drive into the underground. Then we copied the alignment and made a top string – the elevations were easily matched by using the String copy tools via the Vertical Grading Editor. We attached the roof and wall section to this string. Finally, we used Grading strings to provide the entrance and exit walls. Then you put it all together in Model Viewer!
